Day at the Zoo

We had a very quick, but fun day at the zoo. We got there at 2:00 and didn't realize that it closed at 4:00. So, we speed walked and actually saw most of the zoo. Right at 4:00 it started to rain. I'm so glad that the rain held out for us. It was David's first time at the zoo and absolutely loved all of the animals.
This female gorilla fell in love with Hannah. She just stared at her for the longest time. It was so precious!
David would not go anywhere near these animal statues, they totally freaked him out. We ended up getting a year pass to the zoo, so we look forward to many more trips up there!
As you can see Manny is still in the picture! He is actually going to be around until the end of the summer sometime!

Grandparents are Great (title by Jacob)

Grandma and Grandpa Gonzales along with Aunt Dorothy came to visit us during Dorothy's Spring Break. It was a lot of fun to spend time with them for a few days.

March (such a creative title)

Hannah started giving us some big smiles the other day. She was even cooing a little bit, it was so cute. She is growing so fast!
Life can really wear you out when you are 2 yrs. old. So much to do... so little time!
David wasn't sure what to think about Hannah at first. He was interested in her, but did not want to hold her. This is the first time he held her, the only problem is that he didn't want to let go. He is a proud big brother and has to make sure that she is well taken care of now. She has to be all bundled up in her blanket just right and when she cries he will sing the theme song to SpongeBob to her.
David is ready to go to school. Well, at least take the kids to school with his little backpack.
Just a few short weeks ago David was my "baby." He looks so big and grown up in this picture!
We rearanged the bedrooms and put the boys together
David keeps sneaking in Jacob's bed as soon as we shut the door at night
One night we found them sound asleep hugging each other, it was so cute
Emily had a piece of her art entered into the school county art fair
It was a tribute to me
She is really starting to enjoy art and we are finding that she has a wonderful talent for it as well

Hannah's blessing

We blessed Hannah yesterday. It was such a wonderful day. She was such an angel, she looked so pretty in her dress and she slept all through the meeting. Manny's brother Mark and his wife Eileen were in town this weekend visiting their son Matt and his family. We were excited to have them here for her special day. We love having family around, especially because we live so far away from our family.
Our family, I can't believe we now have 6 kids! They are such wonderful kids and they keep our lives exciting.

pictures

The kids just adore Hannah and love to hold her. David is getting more and more curious about her, but doesn't really want to hold her yet. He loves to give her kisses.
