More fun times

Grandma Latour giving David and Jared a ride in the wagon. Sara took this beautiful picture of the mountains in the canyon somewhere in Utah on our drive out. She took it through the window while we were driving about 75 mph. She got a blue ribbon at the fair. You go girl!!! We were just amazed that there was still snow in the mountains in June. I guess we had been gone too long. The next picture is Sara feeding Jared (my nephew) a marshmallow. I thought it was a cute picture.

We got to spend a few days with my oldest brother Murray and the kids just loved him.

It was so wonderful to be able to spend time with Manny's mother, Eunice, and her husband, Reed. We are so happy and feel so blessed that the chemotheropy worked for her leukemia and that the cancer is gone!!! When we got the news, the kids all jumped up and down screeming they were so happy. Even though it had been about 2 1/2 years since we had been at their house, the kids acted like they were at home.

We were getting ready to walk through the little zoo there in Logan and Jacob wanted to go see the birds instead of getting his picture taken, again.

It was such a beautiful day to go feed the ducks. As I go through these pictures figuring out which ones to put on the blog I'm realizing why the kids seem so bored now that we're home. Even though they have school, soccer, gymnastics, church activities, friends, and never a quiet or dull moment around here, we loved our summer with extended family and it was just fun and carefree.

Cousins are great! Our kids had so much fun spending time and developing relationships with cousins this summer. We were so excited to be able to spend time with Manny's side of the family as well as mine. These are some pictures of the kids with Manny's brother Mark's kids. What awesome memories!

Family Reunion

We had a family reunion with my Mother's brothers and sisters and their families. All of my brothers and sisters were also there. It was so wonderful to see all of them, even if it was for a short time. The kids loved climbing the trees. (reminds me of myself when I was their age) The top picture is the quilt that I won through a raffle that we do. The kids and I were so excited! Then their is a picture of my Mom and her brothers and sisters. The big group is everybody that was there from my family. We were so excited to see so much family that we haven't seen in a long time.

Helping on the Farm

There is a wonderful family by my Mom's that has a little farm in their backyard. The kids loved to go help her milk the goats, collect the eggs, feed the horse, feed the baby calves their bottle of milk, and whatever else she could find for them to do. All of the kids have such a love for animals and Wendy was so patient and wonderful with them.
