The 4th of July

We watched the fireworks in Logan the night before the 4th of July with Manny's family. We were able to get a wonderful view of the fireworks right down the road from his Mother's house. The cousins always had so much fun together. Then we drove back to to my Mom's house that night to spend the 4th of July in Malad. After about 4 1/2 hours of sleep we got up and went to the breakfast put on by the firemen (you can't be in Malad and not go to the breakfast.) Then we watched the parade with some more family where the kids got SOOO much candy. It was like Halloween with salt water taffy. They thought that they were in Heaven being able to collect the candy that people would throw to them. I'm not sure what was more entertaining, the parade or watching the kids dive after the candy. Then we got to see more fireworks that night. I love the 4th of July!!!

more summer fun

I am going to try to highlight our summer still, but we had so many wonderful memories and so many
pictures (close to 1,000) that I will have to just touch on a few. This is our camping trip up the Spanish Fork Canyon. Oh how I have missed the mountains. I absolutely loved being in the mountains. Utah mountains are not quite like Montana, but I'll take what I can get.
If there is water, my kids will find it. The kids had a blast playing in the creek.
We also had a lot of fun
riding
on my brother-in-law's 4-wheeler.

Summer Fun

We had so much fun this summer I figured I would back track and share. We loved spending time with family. We went to Yuba Lake in Utah with my sister along with her family and my Mom for the day. I know some of my family has seen these pictures before, sorry.
The end to a wonderful day

pit stop in Nauvoo

We spent the summer with family out in Idaho and Utah. We took a day off of driving and spent it in Nauvoo.

Fun with Daddy

We went to the Science Museum a couple of days before Manny left. We had so much fun!
The kids were so excited to pet a real live snake. I was just fine being behind the camera.
Then we had fun with the magnifying glass.

playing catch up

So, I started a blog a few months ago and then never did anything with it. I never told anybody about it and it just sat there. I think it will be a great way to try and stay in touch with family and friends. So, here is my second attempt at this. There is going to be an overload because we had an awesome summer and I want to catch everybody up. The sad part of our year was we had to say good-bye for a short time to Manny. He is currently serving over seas. We love you babe!

Family Pictures

We are finally joining the blogging world! We had family pictures taken the night before Manny left. We were at a friend's house where she was taking our pictures. The kids would much rather play with her kids, but we got some pictures in there.
