This past Sunday I was able to put her hair up in a ponytail for the first time. One of the girls took this picture. I love seeing the pictures that they take with my camera. They have been capturing some wonderful moments with each other.

Mother's Day

The greatest gifts we can give our children are unconditional love, open arms, and a willing ear.
Author: Debbie Mumm
Mother's Day was a very crazy day this year. We got a call less than a week before that Eunice, Manny's mother's health was not doing well. We were getting ready to drive out to Utah with the two little kids later that day. Manny was still at church so the kids and I were having fun taking pictures out in the front yard. They were also picking flowers for me in the yard.
I am so blessed to be the mother of these amazing kids.
I have always wanted to be a mother as long as I can remember.
We were trying to get a picture of all of us with me holding the camera. It didn't work out like we wanted, but it was fun.
Happy Belated Mother's Day!

Happy 10th Birthday Emily and Erica

Happy 10th Birthday to our twins, Emily and Erica!!!

April 20th was their birthday

I don't have any baby pictures scanned in of the girls yet. But, I love this picture of them when they were 3 years old. I feel like the 6 weeks that I was in the hospital on bed rest with them lasted FOREVER! Then I look back on the last 10 years and it just flew by!
I told them a long time ago that they could have a sleepover birthday party when they turned 10 years old. Well, they didn't let me forget that I said that. So, we had a very fun sleepover birthday party on Friday night and Jacob's party the following day.
The girl's wanted to play "Minute to Win It" games. Here are a few pictures of some of the games that we played. "Dizzy Mummy" was David's favorite. I caught him a few weeks ago with a roll of toilet paper in his hands wanting to play.
Erica with a friend
This game you suck up an M&M onto a straw and have to put it into a different cup
This game you have to blow up a balloon and use your own hot air to blow cups off of the table.
"Johnny Applestack" was fun. Emily was very excited when she got 4 apples stacked.
Erica and Sara also got 4 apples. Sara almost got 5, but it fell right over.

This year instead of making 2 cakes, I made 1 very big cake. We always sing "Happy Birthday" two times and they each get their moment!
On their actual birthday they got to decorate their own cake. This is Emily's cake.

Happy Birthday!

Jacob's 6th Birthday

I can't believe that Jacob is now 6 years old! I am very late in getting this up, but better late than never... right?!?!!?!?! Here are some baby pictures of Jacob. I don't have very many scanned in yet. I love this picture of all the kids. (Easter)
Jacob at 4 months old. He was a big baby! He came into the world weighing 9 lbs. 14 oz. and 23 inches long. He's always been very happy and continues to make everybody smile. He's also very very cuddly!
Jacob wanted an Army theme for his birthday. I'm not sure who had more fun with decorating the cake... me or Manny.
David had to make sure he had a turn with the pinata. I know you are suppose to pull the strings, but where is the fun in that?
On his actual birthday we made pizza... I mean he made pizza. It was very yummy and he had so much fun!
He was so excited about his red lightsaber. He was getting frustrated because all he had was good guy lightsabers and he needed a bad guy one too. He LOVES Star Wars!
Happy 6th Birthday Jacob!!!

update

So, I have been lazy about getting pictures up. We have had a lot going on the last 6 weeks or so that I need to get updated on, so stay tuned for more updates this week. But, for the Grandparents, aunts, and uncles, here are some recent pictures of Hannah. They were taken today. You can really see her curly hair in these pictures. At her 2 month check-up she was 11 lbs. 6 oz. and 22 inches long. She is smiling, cooing, and loves when any of the kids will talk to her. I forgot to rotate the pictures so you just have to tilt your head to the side, sorry.
She was our centerpiece at dinner.
Manny and I got away for a weekend (along with Hannah) to Myrtle Beach. Our awesome friends Joe and Vinessa watched the other 5 kiddos for us. We got a condo on the beach and had a fantastic time.
Coming soon... Easter, Jacob's 6th birthday, & Emily and Erica's 10th birthday

Day at the Zoo

We had a very quick, but fun day at the zoo. We got there at 2:00 and didn't realize that it closed at 4:00. So, we speed walked and actually saw most of the zoo. Right at 4:00 it started to rain. I'm so glad that the rain held out for us. It was David's first time at the zoo and absolutely loved all of the animals.
This female gorilla fell in love with Hannah. She just stared at her for the longest time. It was so precious!
David would not go anywhere near these animal statues, they totally freaked him out. We ended up getting a year pass to the zoo, so we look forward to many more trips up there!
As you can see Manny is still in the picture! He is actually going to be around until the end of the summer sometime!
